Yes! Sorry guys! I did win the promotion! Free plastidipped ride! There are three color options the public can vote on til Monday 9am eastern.

-orange with black wheels
-navy blue and yellow
-monster green and white.

Not your typical Volvo colors at all. Maybe the blue. But it's plastidip and its only temporary! I will post up photos and links to the car being done.

It's my first time winning anything car related and I feel kinda cool I guess ha!

More info to follow!

Congratulations, Connor. Get ready for lots of attention on the street. With a nice-looking R car like yours you probably already draw attention from others who want to race, cops, etc?

I want a plastidip that turns my T5 sedan into this:

Yea...my car draws a lot of attention at school from the stuck up frat kids and college kids...so orange definitely isn't helping in that area...it'll be unique and different but hey...that's why we drive volvos! Am I right guys?

Matt,
Plastidip job is cheap enough! Totally go for it

Holy Smokes! That is orange! Reminds me of the 1980s import BMWs -- bright orange and yellow meant to be seen on the Autobahn because the closing speeds could be so great, and the weather usually overcast.

It really pops with the black rims. I like it.

How's the job up close, in the tricky areas? Not trying to pick nits, I'm genuinely curious.

Do you have the RAW files from your friend's camera? If so, send them to me and I'll make some nice sepia B/W images. I think you have my email?

The quality is ok. It's a dough finish. It has 8 coats on it and still shows through some scratches and Knicks. It's def a 20-10ft car. Any closer and you could find see though marks or tiny spots this missed(for instance under the mirrors).

I have all the raw files! Ill share my drop box link and you can have at it! Show me what you come up with :)
