This seems like a rather simple question, but I am a relativley new owner of a LHD V50 2.0D (many problems - returned to dealer 4 times in as many months), and there appears to be a leak from somewhere near the front passengers side wheel (front right).
I have checked all of the engine fluids apart from the power steering reservoir, because it is not where the manual says it should be (just underneath the cooling expansion tank). I cannot for the life of me find where it is - has anyone got any clues?
I have chatted with the dealer, and apparently it is perfectly normal for there to be liquid dripping from underneath the car, due to the outlet pipe from the air-con dehumidifier. I don't believe him - if that's the case, why is the leak present even after the car has been standing for a day?

The fluid is normal if you can dip your finger in it and it's not red or brown or black or flourescent green but instead clear like water (because then it's condensation from the A/C). The colors I mentioned are transmission fluid, steering fluid, oil and coolant. Anyway, your dealer may be right. If you have any cloggage at all in the A/C evaporator drain it may take awhile for it to come dripping down from the drain. You should have the clog looked at and make it freer flowing.
