Here's a fact: italics are hard to read.

Like, in the grand scheme of things, I'd describe using them for body text as, oh, a disaster.

Is their usage here just temporary?

Ah...I have no italics in Chrome, but do in Firefox. I agree.

One other small thing - the page/tab headings. I tend to open a bunch of tabs at once and it's hard to get back to the one I want without clicking through all of them. They just say "Matthew's Volvo..."
