If you are into soldering, then it is an easy fix - just redo the joints; if you see electrolytic caps you may want to change those as well for peace of mind. Clean the relay contacts, too.
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.

I resoldered the relay joints, and clean all of the contacts with DeOxit. There weren't any caps to replace. Hopefully this solves the problem. I'm thinking it did. Thanks again for all the insight!

According to Haynes, a hard start when HOT is indicative of the following:
1. Clogged air filter
2. Fuel not reaching the injector system
3. Injector(s) leaking
4. Corroded battery connections, especially ground
Good luck!

Well, it wasn't the RSR. It happened to me again yesterday, so i jumped the pins and still nothing. After about fifteen minutes she started right up. Today i pulled the Fuel Injector Relay and touched up a bunch of bad solder connections. I'm wondering through, if that was the culprit, wouldn't the fuel pump stop working? When i have the no start situation, i can clearly hear the fuel pump working.

It happened again. Anyone have any experience with RPM sensors?

How much voltage going to the injectors did you read?

This just happend to me yesterday. I was at about half tank too. My guess is these cars run hot and work hard being just 4bangers and the Regina coil and/or Fuel pump needs to cool down a bit. so I let the car sit for about 5minutes while I armor all the tires and she started right up. I wouldn 't worry too much about it until you see a CEL. I just bought my 93' 940 and I always plan ahead to change things like the fuel pump anyway, so if you feel like that's your issue and you've never changed it, can't hurt. they cost a bit but it's worth for these old cars. G'luck.
