V70 Wiring problem?

Post by Richard Wood »

I have a fuse blown and cannot work out why! It is number 24 which controls RH front parking light. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1999 V70?

u are correct f24 controls RH front parking light....trace the green cable, it goes to the light and connector no. 4 and 7 of the bulb failure unit. its either the cable / connector shorted or the bulb failure unit has shorted internally.

The black cable is the earth cable...forget about it concentrate on the green cable. and check the sidelights could be shorted....

Thanks for the tips, the problem was in the back where the dealer had fitted a towbar; a wire was trapped under the floor panel and had made contact with the body causing the fuse to go!
