'81 240DL engine question

I blew up my engine and haven't had much luck finding a B21 to toss in it. I have digs on a B23 for a dynamite price, but I don't want to swap out the fuel injection system as well. My B21 head is good can I just toss that on the B23 block. I know there is a 4mm difference in bore width and piston height is 0.4mm shorter on the older head, but can I do it with happy driving to be had? I need to do something It's killing me seeing my 240 dead in my backyard and I want to drive her again soon. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Added location to my signature. I've been looking for a replacement B21 for a few weeks. I've had two leads and both didn't pan out. One was junk and the other had a knock. I slipped a bearing on the original and I should have realized the problem a week in advance - I heard a cold knock, but didn't do anything about it. I don't want a repeat. Both leads had about $200 on the engine and a bit over $200 on shipping, which was doable. I'll buy one from anywhere in CONUS, so long as the price is reasonable. I would actually prefer a direct drop in after I swap out seals, gaskets, water pump and oil pump on the new one. That would take a weekend.
