New guy intro and looking for my next car

Hi, I'm Don from coastal Alabama.

I've been lurking here for a while and reading. There's lots of good information and this is seems to be a great site/forum. I'm looking for an '03-05 V70 but they seem to be hard to find. What's the deal? Are they that good a car that no one is letting theirs go?

Is the XC-70 the same car but AWD, lifted, and has a 2.5L turbo charged engine?

03 was a very short model year, not many made
04-05 are fairly plentiful, you need to know where to look.
There are FWD and AWD models regardless whether it's an XC or not.
ALL XC's which are all AWD are turbos.

Where are you located?
Do you want or need AWD?

I found and bought an 04 V70. It was at a dealership & they wouldn't budge on their high price for 3 days. They finally budged today and agreed to $200 over my fair offer so I bought it. I'll add some pics once I figure out how to on this forum.

I'm excited at getting a fantastic looking car. It looks brand spanking new but has 135k on the odometer. I'm looking into doing a timing belt kit, water pump, and trans fluid drain & fill in the very near term.

Doesn't really matter
It depends on where he lives.
If he's in the South, Volvos are cheaper there (not loved) but if he's from the Northeast or the pacific NW, they're much more expensive

I paid $6300 including taxes & fees. It has power heated seats, sunroof, leather and various other goodies. Looks brand spanking new inside and out. Here are some pics.
