I have a 2000 V40 that needed an additional spare key. Purchased the car with 1 key and 1 remote recently. The current key and remote works fine. I ordered an additional key from the dealer, once received I went in to have it programmed. I was waiting for 1 1/2 hours for the key to program, it was not taking the sequencing apparently. So, we have ordered another key- possible faulty key? My question is if next key ordered does not program what else could it be since the car is original- current key and remote work?
