Good Morning,
Have a quick question... Will do transmission flush on my 2004 C70 in the near future... I did a drain and refil last weekend... got just about 4 quarts out of the transmission... Decided to do it this way due to sevreal posts that cautioned about possible issues that could happen if all new fluid was put in at one time.
Plan is to do the total flush when I do the next oil change... in about 2 months.
Here are my questions.
1. Is it worth doing the flush or just do a drain and refil every other oil change... In my case about 2 times per year.
2. If I do the entire flush, should I do a drain and refil once a year to keep the fluid clean?
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks

If you do a complete drain and fill, (about 3 times in a row, using up a case of fluid or by doing the complete flush using the Gibbons method) then it's clean.
You need to get it thoroughly clean first.
After that if you do a SINGLE (3-4) quarts drain and fill every other oil change, 99% of the time this should easily suffice.
I would suggest buy the IPD flush kit, it makes life easier and you can do a complete flush yourself in about 1/2 hour.
