I have been checking the code on the B block socket 2 and receive a 1-2-2. Any help on this...I can't find it in the other posts on OBD codes
The car seems to run fine, but I do see a service lamp on the dash that clears after a minute or two after the engine is started.
How do you determine the type of injection system? this is a 2.3 liter non-turbo engine.
Thanks
Brent
p.s. the forum has been great !! Keep up the great work
10/23/06 Update
I have replaced a cracked breather hose going from the inlet to the TBI plenum going to some sort of plastic valve behind the throttle body.
I cured and cleared the codes showing the IAC failure. Reseting the Service dash lamp was nothing more than reseting the button next to the odometer behind a rubber plug....YAY!
Still would like to know what 1-2-2 is on the B-2 block (OBD)
Also cleaned the IAC valve with choke cleaner...was dirty.

Finally found it. B2 code 1-2-2 is cruise control - no speed signal vehicle has not exceeded 35km/h.
Fuel injection system will be either Bosch LH 2.2 or LH 2.4.

I found the forum to be a valuable tool and want to thanks those who run the board. As of this post I have straightened out all the problems without the dealer taking for a ride. I would have been out a boat load of money for the time to solve these problems.
Last on the list is to tackle the A/C problem and the drivers seat heater failure. I have an HVAC license, but auto A/C is a different animal...I may need to break out my gauge manifolds and start with checking the static system pressures and go from there. I understand there is a strainer on the low-side line that gets clogged....lastly convert to R-134A
