Squeaky caliper

Is there anything I can do (besides the obvious) to help ease a squeaky caliper?

Can you elaborate a little more please Dawn?

Constant squeak or only when applying the brakes?

Does it go away with brake application?

Which wheel(s) squeaks?

Recent brake job?

Brake lube on the caliper slides/slide pins will do wonders if it's the caliper itself making noise. My Cruze came from the factory without any grease on them...it would make a little chirping noise like a bird every time I applied the front brakes with the windows down.

Squeaky pads? Same thing...apply brake grease on the backs of the pads.
