1989 240 no idle

This problem has been happening for awhile now. I have to press the gas to start the car and keep it pressed to get the car going. Once I'm driving it runs pretty well. It is a little sluggish when needing to accelerate quickly at times. When I am coming to a stop, I need to keep the gas pedal pressed. The codes I'm getting are 113, 221, 123 (in that order). It runs really well when it's cold outside. I don't know if it's fuel pump, relay, filter, or something else. Please help.

The car is now idling perfectly fine...however, 9 times out of 10, I still need to apply gas to get it started.

Update:

A previous owner had some sort of fuel issue too and replaced the external fuel pump and filter with a pump from an older 240 and the fuel accumulator. So, I've been running my car without a fuel filter and wrong pump. I went to a salvage yard and pulled a new bracket with the correct pump and a filter, but now I'm down a code in OBD. I'm getting 231 and 113. To get the car started, I need to press on the gas for awhile, while the car cranks, until it finally cranks over. I am getting fed up with this car.

Where do I go from here?

Have you checked the idle air control valve?
