One of my coil springs broke on my 2000 V40. I can't find a source for the part. Half way through 2000 a production change was made, I can find struts before and after that date, but I can't find coil springs for either before or after and what any interchange issues might be. Any ideas?

I would suggest looking at "swedishautoparts.com" to at least narrow down the Volvo part #, and give their tech people a shout....Looks like they run about $125 ea. for the older S40...No clue about an aftermarket spring....I was looking for an AFT instead of OES before having my struts done late last year. The only stuff available was thru Rockauto sent from the UK...with shipping, the numbers just didn't work out, so I just used the old ones...Good luck!
