Right,

Cannot repair it - Plastic tanks you know... Mine blew out while on a road trip. Tragedy on Hwy 26 out of Portland. Had my s90 towed to Firestone, where they gave me the choice between a replacement OEM with the plastic tanks, or a solid metal one. I took the metal option since I plan to keep my Volvo for many years. The only real difference I notice is that the temp gauge runs a little warmer than the OEM. STill within normal operating. I did install an auxiliary transmission cooler, because I was burning through transmission fluid, and it shifted funny when it warmed up. Since then no worries!
