Hey everybody,
I will be picking up my new whip (99 s70 t5) on Tues and will be looking for some help to do some preventative maintenance; PCV replacement first and then other stuff down the road. I do not expect nor want someone to do the work for me-I want to learn. What I would like is someone there to help me not mess things up. So my question is this: aside from buying lunch and being a kind and grateful host, is there anything else I should do to make this a positive experience for all involved? I will have all parts and have tools at the ready of course. Your input and experience is appreciated.

Just the fact that you are asking tells me you will be a pleasure to work with. Hope you can find someone nearby, and WELCOME to MVS!!!

Ah Shucks! Thanks Abscate. I will be taking ownership of my ride in 3 more hours! I'm at work trying to be productive, but I just keep floating over to this forum and to IPD and daydreaming. I'll deploy the Bat signal sometime next week to find some help in getting baby in tip top shape!
