If the headlights are off, my right turn signal will make my headlights flash. If the headlights are on, the right turn signal is always on. It doesn't flash at all, just is consistently on. It also shows in the dash that it's on, not flashing, just solid light. Doesn't make the clicking sound, doesn't do anything. I have no idea where to go with this. I checked all the fuses, none are broken. I didn't know what to check next. I tried replacing the turn signal bulb, that didn't change anything either. Any ideas? I'm getting nervous about getting a ticket over that turn signal. I've started to refrain from using it because of the flashing headlights thing

96 850 Turbo - Electrical Issues (headlights/turn signals)
I'm not sure where to start with this problem, so I'll just explain what happens.

Check the wiring harness to the headlight and the turn signal for a melted wires and a short. The early 70 series were horrible about melting the harness inside of the headlight but the 850s have a different setup and any wire damage should be fairly apparent.
