I have seen this on '01 V70...it had the same leak like you have.
Also what about that hole?

Unfortunatelly,yes.

About the hole...i guess that it doesn't need to be plugged.

Does anyone have the PN for this "famous" hose on top of the fuel tank (the hose with with I.D. measurements at each end)?

My car is 1998 S70 GLT with 160K.
2004 V70 2.5T 100K+
2005 XC90 2.5T 110K+
