Back up lights

I'm looking for, if any, info on high wattage back-up lights for my 00XC. I saw a link from europe about these. But ther was no product info at all.

there is a post over on volvoxc.com about this same topic. not much info there right now. however it did get me thinking, i have rear foglights. there is an auxilary switch on the dash that illuminate an extra set of lamps in the taillight assembly. could this be what you are talking about? this was from the factory and i believe there is an additional bayonet socket in the taillight assembly. the lamp is the same as the taillight lamp.

The rear fog lights are red and there will probably be only one on the driver's side of the vehicle. The wattage of the rear fog bulb is 21, the same as the reverse lights so would not give more light.

I don't know US vehicle construction regulations but in the UK 21 watts is the maximum for any rear light bulb.
