I have a 99 S80, the Left Rear door lock only works on occasion when you use the remote or the button on the drives door. Any knon quicks with this? Thanks in advance

The solenoild needs to be cleaned or replaced. Remove the door pannel to get to the solenoid. Scribe the screw location on the solenoid adjuster and remove the solenoid. Remove the retaining pin so that the actuator can be removed. Clean the actuator with Scotchbrite soaked in alcohol (I prefer McClelland Islay but any type will do  ). Reassemble and test with the door pannel still off.

It also may be the electrical connection in that door. Check for any crimped or pinched wires.

Good Luck,

I also have a 99 S80 with a sticky left rear door lock. I often have to press the unlock button a couple of times on my keys to get it to finally open, or crawl across the backseat from the right and manually pull it up.
It is frustrating though.
