how to cancel thread?

Not seeing anything in the interface but I started my own thread that I no longer need input on.

If there hasn't been any activity I can delete it for you but if there are answers post post back that you figured it out and we can just leave it. It could be helpful to someone else with the same question down the road. I just need a link to the thread in question.

I agree that leaving all threads with value are useful to someone...but I went a wrong patch in troubleshooting 10 minutes after I posted it and I'm sure the thread was doing to go in a direction that I didn't want to continue with anyone offering advice!
