iPD's new Boostability Kit

Post by matthew1 »

Just a quick post here to go over a new iPD kit. Basically, it's a $849 kit to improve various (turbo) parts over stock on 2004-2007 R Volvos and turbo V70 & S60 models (I'm presuming) 2001-2007.

[Disclaimer: Although I run iPD ads here, I don't have any agreements or contracts with them to promote their products, and I don't get free parts. I buy products from my sponsors at retail just like you.]

With age comes wisdom, and auto parts are no different. Better-engineered parts than OEM are widely available, and this kit is an example of this phenomenon.

turbo inlet hose
intercooler hose
compressor bypass valve
CBV block-off plate

iPD "externalized" the CBV (circled).

At $849 it's surely not what I'd call "low hanging fruit" of modding for power. But at some point it does become the logical next item on the inescapable power/dollar product list.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Seems nice Matt, I am sure I may inquire on my own, but do they have any "kits" per se for the '96 - '97 Turbo/T-5 types?
Just jealous. :)
