No shaft play, spins smoothly. For cars with the straight flange down pipe (97 850 GLT and 98-99 S70, V70, V70XC - maybe others).

Just a quick correction - 1999 was the year they switched to angled flange housings, so this turbo as-is would only go on 98 and below. But, the cartridge can be easily swapped into any 99+ housing with the removal of the v-band clamp, so this is still a great deal for someone that needs a 13G/T!
