There are threads where I have mentioned my disliking of anything but original body parts.
Unless necessary, as the lack of a '93 front bumper for the repair of my sedan, I would suggest an original look.
That is another thread as I have made a choice to install an year appropriate rear bumper on the '93 Sedan. this will match the front bumper and side molding lines to the presently installed '96 front bumper. It will be fun this week, and will be seen added to my maintenance threads.
I would like an opinion of the "Eyebrows".
The wagon has no headlight wipers and I like the clean look of the front of the car.
These were not expensive and I thought I would give them a try.
Opinions?
There seems to be a tighter beam with less blinding reflection toward other drivers as well.

I have not seen any aftermarket lighting or add on accessories that looks better than stock Volvo units. BMW are my favorites as the majority of them look like menacing animals on the prowl. White spectrum lighting however looks very nice in the Volvo's stock light assembly. Volvo's are not ricers and is not fitting for any other spectrum of light other than yellow or white.

As for the Eyebrows it makes the 850 look like it has not slept for days. Don't mean to be frank but you did ask for an opinion.
Blessings,
BKM

I did in fact ask for opinion.
Agreed. It does make the Volvo hood line look tired.
Like I had said, it was not expensive and took minutes to install. It will take less to remove.
In time, I will make a decision as to liking.
Function? Probably none actual. I would only assume a bit of glare negation.
All opinions welcome. Has anyone else installed these?

The eyebrows tend to affect the proportions of the headlight units visually. (I feel)
They tend to appear like narrow 'slits' rather than beefier, and rectangular as the 850 and 70 series proportions seem to more suit.
Have followed your maintenance posts on both your project vehicles and admire your dedication and efforts in their restorations. They both look very smart now.

Thanks for looking. I was looking for a contrast to my '93 head lights, which are huge. They are an inch taller than the Alter 2 style trim from '94.5 to '97.difflock54 wrote:The eyebrows tend to affect the proportions of the headlight units visually. (I feel)

The tall glass looks cool on my '93, even with the '96 bumper as a replacement.
I'm trying for a "clean look with the wagon. I have everything I need to add headlight wipers and fog lights but I don't think I want to.
