Sorry, I don't have any info on that late of a model year S60. Ask the dealer. I'm thinking that it will probably take a download.

Edit: Just confirmed from a different forum that at least in the XC90's (same year as yours) it can be done but only with a software download. Usually around $30 for the download plus the labor fee. My own dealer charges a minimum of an hour's labor for any software download. So, it would be about $130 if I were to have it done local to me. Check with your dealer to see what they charge.

I swithced the whole US speedo cluster to a Canadian metric unit. Everything is now metric (temp in celcius, liters per 100KM etc.) EXCEPT the odometer! It still counts up in miles. The dealer will have to re-program the ECM as it sends info in miles to the speedo head.

Mine is a US model imported in Canada, and when I asked the dealer, he told me that I have to change first the whole dash, and then reprogram the ECM. Quite costly, so I live with

Sorry, I did not catch how you switched whole speedo cluster. Have you had dealer for this?

Sorry for the late reply.
I just went to the junk yard and got a speedo cluster out of a Canadian car of the same year. V70 or S60 doesn't matter. Go to www.car-parts.com and drill down. All North American junk yards are linked.
About $200.00 for the complete cluster.
