Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

2004 S80 T6 'Time for Regular Service' Reset?

Post by sixft1 »

Hi,

I've seen a few posts for resetting the 'Time for Regular Service', but none of those are working for me. I tried the ones for years 2000 and 2002, no luck with getting them to work. Does anyone know how to reset this alert for a 2004 S80 T6? Not sure if it matters in this, but I have the navigation system as well. (I know it matters with radio replacements :( )

The reason the light came on was for the regular 7500 mile oil change alert.

I would be extremely thankful if someone shared the info on how to do this.

Thanks!

Jessica

I was successful with the following method (in addition to your suggestion)
1. Press and hold odometer reset button
2. Turn ignition switch to position II
3. Continue holding odometer reset button till service lamp flashes (app. 10 sec)
4. While service lamp flashes release odometer reset button.
5. Confirm by turning ignition switch off, then on again.

it works i have S80 2005 t6

Now, if you haven't already done so, get your car serviced...oil change and other service items listed for your current (or past :? ) mileage.
