letting go...

Post by Mat »

Hi every1, i just wanted some advice, i have a 94 850 turbo with 210000km on it. My uncle sells cars and just got a 2001 s40, he's making me a real good deal on it. I just want to know if ill be able to achieve the same performance? I know the s40 is a lil slower, but is it worth a switch?? And has any1 chipped a s40 and got decent results???
thanks,
Mat

My mom's V40 is a nice nice car. Much more usable as a utility transportation than my 850 sedan. However, I know you're speaking about an S40... so, the accelleration will not be as great as with the 850. Handling will improve. Economy will improve. Insurance cost? Don't know the answer to that... it will probably increase.

And there are chips to put in it... I just can't find any at ipdusa.com.
