Hi all,
I recently found a neat V40 for my in laws. When we got it all the tyres where cactus so they where all replaced. Now after only 2000km's on the new tyres I've noticed severe tyre wear on the rear tyres. The rear tyres are noticibly scrubbing out, especially on the inner edges. Current tyre measurements where:
.........(inner, middle,outer)
Right Rear: 5, 5, 5mm
Left Rear: 4, 5, 5.5mm
Right Front: 6.5, 6, 6mm
Left Front:6, 6, 6mm
Now while those measurements front to rear across the tread surface might seem ok, the very inner edge of the tread blocks are worn down do around half of what the inner edge of the fronts are.
I've had a quick look under the back end and there dosent appear to be much in the way there for altering suspension geometery. Is this likely to be a straight out alignment issue that can be easily corrected, or is the alignment set from the factory and Im likely looking at worn bushes/suspension components at the rear?

Got the alignment checked today. Got the printout, holly crap! Massive toe out - 24.4mm in fact!Thats been reset to 2.1mm toe in. Left rear was the worse one for wear as that one had -2.34deg camber, thats been reset to -0.41deg, right hand side had .1deg taken out so wasn't too bad.
