try to connect vadis and Dice unit to my volvo s40 2,0 turbo 1999
and when i try to read win number in my computor "vadis.exe has stopped vorking and the program shuts down "

What too do

please help

Vadis does not work with Dice. ViDA does.

when i connect Dice and use Vida 2012 i cant read Win nummber on the car so it cannot read any info on car and gives no syptom on problem
checked Connection with diagnostic Dice program som commputer program and Dice unit is ok

I have a feeling that Dice/Vida is only applicable to post '01 S40s and V40s.

Try the Vag Com cable and associated software.

for S40/V40 -2004 MY you need to enter VIN manually.

when i put in vin nummber nothing happends just says cant read car

Which other Volvo cars, years etc ? Does the amber light illuminate on the Dice? Is the Dice unit being recognised by the laptop? Does the beep beep noise occur on the laptop when the USB cable is plugged in?
