Hi
Not sure if this fits here, but here goes.
I'm considering changing my other vehicle varied brands and moving to a 2002-2004, Cross country or XC70 or XC90 with from what I see in the market approx 90,000km to 180 ish.
Can anyone tell of any glaring pitfalls on these vehicles.
I was going to include V70 but I do a little towing from time to time and from previous experience front wheel drive don't tow well.
I haven't looked and any particular vehicle as yet just adds on the net
Thanks in advance
Kappy

Stay on 2003 and above and you'll get Haldex AWD and newer designed longer stroke motor and afew more horses (about 9 hp)
Both cars are great drives however XC90 has more weight to carry/ more fuel burned. Agility wise the XC70 is a better handler.
Stay away from the early T6 XC90; 4 speed transmission problems. Better to go for a 2.5 with 5 speed auto. Aside from fragile spring seats they are generally good buys given that fluids have been regularly replaced especially trans.
Look for smoke upon startup and any leaks that are unattended; especially those dropping on suspension components.
