My volvo car is 2004 S80 2.0T model.
I replaced fuel filter and engine oil and filter 2 days ago.
But the fuel consumption have got higher than before.
Almost 15~16 liters /100kms.
The oil filter and fuel filter are all Bosch product.
Oil is the Castrol magnatec 5W40.
What's wrong with my car?
Originally, It was 11~12 liters/100 kms with volvo genuine.
What Is the normal consumption for S80 ?
Thanks.

5W40 non synthetic oil is a little thin for a turbo car.
The recommended oil is synthetic 10W40 unless the climate is VERY cold.
Have you checked and regapped the spark plugs?
How many kilometres are on the car and how long has it been on Magnatec for?

Thanks for reply..
I solved the problem with checking the engine oil level.
Mechanic filled too much oil. -,,-
Oil was over F.
Now, the fuel consumption came back to 10.5 liters/100kms.
It's not bad. ^^
Anyway, Thanks.
