98 V70 AWD Aftermarket MAF

Post by rmmagow »

I am running a long test on this MAF: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Volvo-850-Mass- ... f0&vxp=mtr
I had it in my car for a few months, had issues with the car, bought a Bosch that didn't fix anything. Subsequently I found my running problem and fixed it.
I'm have taken out my Bosch MAF, put this one back in and continue to run with "NO CODES" and running pretty well. I plan to keep this one in until it breaks or I sell the car. So far it has been working perfectly with 2500 miles since I re-installed it. The price is very good, the ad copy would lead one to think there's a bit more than chinese junk involved (don't know it it is true) but feel it's worthwhile to run a long term test in case anyone's interested.

I've been running a Cardone Reman MAF from Autozone in my 1998 V70 for two years with no problems. Oddly, it's stamped Bosch.

Thanks for the updates/reviews on these aftermarket MAFs. This is very interesting because normally non-Blue Box / non-Bosch MAFs are trouble.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!
