A much more elegant solution if your car is fitted with such a thing! Mine isn't.a799608 wrote:i have a 98 s70 and all i had to do was turn the screw head on the switch box to disable them.

Just checked my 96 850 T5 (had it for 10 years and didn't know this switch existed) This is a UK car and the switch is multi position, depending on the position different combinations of Head/side lights are on. So try the small switch clock and anti clockwise. Many thanks

ok well..um..ok i know you guys are going to hastle me for this but....... why would you want to disconnect your daytime running lights?
Will you also disconnect other safety features on your car like the airbags?

This is not a discussion for WHY, it's a discussion how to.CarVolvo wrote:ok well..um..ok i know you guys are going to hastle me for this but....... why would you want to disconnect your daytime running lights?
