I love the way my 20 yr old 700 series and 200 series perform in the snow; a lot better than my 27 yr old plymouth. Some how the rear tires both grip at times and make recovery better. Whereas my plymouth seems to just have the one tire spin and therefore prolong recovery on slick surfaces.

It's an acquired skill, just like operating a FWD1

I think you'll find the "Volvo Snow Race" video on YouTube very entertaining. It involves 3 740s and a 240 playing around in the snow..
