2005 s40 heater fault

2005 s40 heater fault

Hi guy and girls, I've got a problem with the heater control vents. it doesn't switch to the foot wells. You can select it on the control and it will light up but nothing comes out,
So I’m after a bit of advice as to where to look before i start ripping the dash to bits. any help would be greatly appreciated, cheeRS Al
