no oil pressure light

Yeah i brought a 99 s80 and the no oil pressure light comes on and it only does it when its sitting at idle. the dealership says im lying. now wat is causing this message how do i fix this problem. will it be safe to drive for a 100 miles. im lost and i really fell in love with this car. well. any suggestion wld be helpful

I've read this about the '99 S80 on several other forums. It seems to be a quirk to this car. But if it's not then you won't be happy if something does really happen to the engine, so to make sure, you should get it checked out. If your current dealer doesn't trust you take it to a different one.
