Before I even start I know this car has ridiculous miles on it and that trying to squeeze extra horsepower out of it is not in its best interest. Anyway, just for kicks what is the cheapest and simplest modifications that can be made to up this cars game. I have heard bits and pieces of rumors about ecu and injector swaps from other years that can increase power some. Will putting injectors from an 850 turbo,if they fit, have any desirable effect? Is there anyway to trick it into boosting a little more without an ecu tune/swap?
Eventually I would like to rebuild the engine that is in it or get ahold of another motor to rebuild and try for about 220-230 hp. In the meantime it would be fun to get a little extra pep, if possible.

I am not an expert mechanic, but I will attempt any repair. Worst case scenario is I screw it up worse than it was.
