2007 XC90 ABS/DSTC ELECTRICAL ISSUES

Post by thirdlief »

Hey all,
Have been reading lots of forums and looking for help. My situation: My wife sends me this pic that says abs/anti-skid service required, next day she can't drive faster than 8mph. I read codes with Launch reader and get
steering angle sensor, so I clear, immediately happens again I read code and get
left rear wheel speed sensor(there may have been more codes, I forgot to scroll over) I clear
keeps on giving left rear wheel speed sensor, so I clean all wheel sensors(compressed air) clear codes, same thing. So I try to check the sensors, by checking resistance and voltage while rotating tires, I get no readings.
If I clear codes and turn the DSTC off before I drive the car it goes faster, but it seems like it is still traction controlling and you can feel the rear brakes going on until it pops the abs/anti skid service required, then the brakes stop and I can drive. Now I take code reading and get 4 codes
1. Left rear wheel speed sensor-mechanical failures
2. Right rear wheel speed sensor-mechanical failures
3. Right rear wheel speed sensor-electrical failure
4. Longitudinal acceleration sensor algorithm based failures signal plausibility failure
And now when I drive it I get brake assist service required
After 30km/h I get the red triangle telling me to stop safely
The closest dealer is 300km away
Any help??

This sounds like a systemic issue. All those sensors going bad at once smells funny.

Those circuits all have to come together at the ABS control module.

Anyone know offhand if these land yachts vulnerable to the same ABS hippitry as the P80 cars?
