2001 S80 changed battery - half of central panel dead
Hello folks, I need your kind advice. I changed the battery in my S80 myself. I am not a novice around cars. I followed instructions to the letter. The car started up right away and I have driven it for about 20 Miles with the new battery however, the lower part of the central controls panel (below the radio) is now completely dead, this includes the climate control, the seat heaters, the rear window defroster, the back headrests release, the valet trunk button, the anti skid and surprisingly the light on the gear shift indicator and the light of the W button.
I have the exact same issue and I have tried everything (aside from taking it to the dealership). I have tried unhooking the battery for an hour, locking and unlocking with the key in the driver's door, jumping the car with the battery hooked up, locking and unlocking with the key fob, replacing the fuses, and even tried the process used to reset the service indicator... nothing is working. I hope someone has an idea on this or maybe the answer is just to take it to the dealer - but I'm afraid they will try and make me purchase a new CCM. Anyone have any suggestions?

I followed the video to the tee, but i went a step further. I went to a local salvage yard and bought a used climate control out of a wreck and tore into the motherboard and removed the thermistor and soldered it into mine and everything came back to life. Hope this helps someone out!
