2007 XC90 - Heat to floor vent

Post by Jat007 »

Greetings,

Are you guys getting adequate heat to your feet? I can't seem to feel the heat at all at the feet areas either from the driver side or passenger side without hitting the recycle button. If I use the recycle button too long, the interior windows will frog up pretty bad. I can feel the cold air draw in right underneath the glove box... The cold air disappeared as soon as I hit the recycle button.

I had the car into the Volvo dealership when it was under warranty to check for issues and they said, they download a program and synched it. They blamed the weather is way too cold and they floor full of snow and ice, which will make matters worse.

Any thoughts on what I should be looking for?

Thanks,

Jat

is the area around wipers all full of snow? that is where the outside air is picked up. You may have the fan choked for air when outside air is sourced.

Did anything ever come of this? I have the same issue, my feet are always freezing although I've never put on the recycle button. Any input would be helpful.
