Private Message Ad
I don't know if it pops up for everybody, but I am getting some kind of Urgent Massage ad that want's you to download a piece of code. Generally this isn't a good thing. They sort of back-door make it look like you have a private message from the site.

For awhile I was getting ad-ware it seems. Clicking links on MVS would get routed to Southern Volvo and or other websites. This happened regardless of whether I was on my Desktop, Laptops or iPad. It has not happened for a month or two so I am assuming the Host Server or Computer was able to rid of those issues.rmmagow wrote:

Clicking links is never a good practice, it is best to inspect the link before following it, even if you trust the source.
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.

"Solved" it by making logins go directly to the desired page, or forum index.
Which, to be honest, is something that I wanted to do and didn't ever actually sit down to do, but during this work I stumbled on it.
(There used to be an "interstitial" page that would sit between clicking "Log In" and your destination. That interstitial page is where this ad would appear.)

I found the "real" way to block it, and did so. I also wrote to Google about how this is very deceptive when displayed on a forum.
