I can figure out most mechanical problems but the electrical ones kill me. And of course my problem electrical.
For starters, the 'fuel relay circuit' is dead. This I have proved as another forum suggested connecting fuses 4 and 6 - which does make the fuel pumps work. I have spark as I can drip a little gas into a vent in the intake air tube and the car will turn over. So I think the problem is with the fuel injection area.
However - just to note this, the car was starting sporadically and then not starting at all; could the fuel relay circuit also control the electrical part of the electro-mechanical fuel injection? The trick above links the pumps but does it also link something else?
There is something called the 'cold fuel injector' which I think is an electrical device; pump?
Any help very appreciated. I need to move!
