Volvo ETM issue after clutch replacement.

Post by iharun »

I have a 1999 Volvo V70 that I just had a clutch replace. Mechanic took out the engine and transmission to do it. When they start the car the car won't accelerate past 30 miles an hour and the throttle seems limp. RPM gage is at 1500-2000. Coolant hose blew off. What's the issue. Very frustrated don't know. :x

Given that the engine just got yanked I would guess that something didn't get hooked back up or didn't get hooked up properly. I would assume that your mechanic would stand behind his work and figure it out for you. Is the ETS light on?
