Drivers seat Recalibration?

I just finished the driver's seat cable repair, the seat will recline but wont incline, tapping the button moves the seat backrest up about 1/8th of an inch, then cuts the motor as if its reached its incline limit. Had to tap the button probably over 50 times to get it into a usable incline position/angle.

After hours of searching, I found a PDF that pertains to recalibration, and its not really clear how its done/how "codes" are entered, etc.

Anyone have any experience?
