HF coupons -- free stuff to choose, no purchase needed

This seems like a hard deal to pass up. No minimum purchase needed, good all of Feb 2014, choice of a few useful items including a flashlight, a tarp, a power strip, etc...

All of that stuff is alright... I would pass on the power strip though.

I am sure most of you know about advance autos coupons and discounts they offer for online orders ( buy online-pick up at local store). Today I found this online coupon which actually worked "TRT41". It will get you 40% off your purchase up to $40. Don't know how long it will work but as of about 10AM EST it was valid.

I picked up a flashlight this morning. I took a look at the power strips, which were across the aisle from the flashlights, and saw that they were "UL" listed, but they might not be safe.

I have to admit I went back to HF again yesterday to get a second free flashlight. I was surprised when I got up to the counter when the cashier asked me if I wanted one of each of all the other things in the coupon too. I said no thanks but then he pulled out a tarp and said "I've got a pile of these tarps here", so I said "OK. Thanks!". A pretty good deal!
