I would like to install a front license plate flipper to be able to hide the plate away when I like so it has a cleaner look to the Car, then obviously display it when needed.

My question is, is there any way to install this in the area between the 2 fog lights? I'd just prefer it not be mounted at the bottom, where it could come into contact with debris and has no protection below it. area pictured below:
