I notice in your fleet that you have a Porsche 944. That's about 30 better than the Porsche 914 I had back in high school. Honestly, how big of a PIA are they to deal with. My daughter has her permit and her 16th birthday is in July. I figure if I buy one now we can redo the crappy seats, the speedo gear, change a timing belt, and cover the cracked dash as a father/daughter thing.
She would be the queen of the parking lot with a Porsche but am I better off buying her another 850?
I found a 928 with a trashed interior but that scared me to death when I saw what it can do in the 1/4 and the 170 MPH top end.

The 944 is a great car and very easy to work on and there are tons of spare parts. However just like all cars of that vintage they require maintenance. Timing belts are critical as the motors are all alun=minum and interference type. Models changed at 85.5 and range from 16 V 4rs to turbos. For a beginner a na post 85.5 is great and very forgiving and reliable.
