2001 C70 HP coupe. Over the years, I have upgraded my car`s engine and suspension.
Focusing on the engine...Intercooler, intake, exhaust manifold, turbo, downpipe, catback, plugs, coils, turbo and radiator hoses and turbo control valve have all been upgraded to IPD`s or ARD`s or VIVA`s or Eurosport`s finest afterstock replacements. And, of course the ECU has been tuned as well.
But the fuel injectors are still stock, in fact still original.
The car runs exceedingly well still ( at 109,000 miles ).
So, at what point, if at all, would it become beneficial to upgrade to a higher flow injector? And at what cost to engine fuel mileage? I`m not as much of a leadfoot as I use to be and the car currently still returns 28/29 mpg on the highway.
When are upgraded fuel injectors a good idea???

Hey there Forest,
Without having any first hand experience, I would say that upgrading injectors would only benefit you if you have put on a bigger turbo or boosted the psi so you can burn that extra fuel. Seeing that you have already upgraded the turbo, then you might see some gains from putting in upgraded injectors. Look around on Swedespeed as those cats seem to be pretty performance oriented.
