1989 240 GL Wheel Bearing Replacement

Post by rob_240 »

Hello, I have a '89 Volvo 240 and need to have a wheel bearing pressed on. I have been getting quotes from local shops. Does $40 sound reasonable?

I am also trying to find good shop manual images online but have not been able to find any. Does anyone have a good Volvo green book image for the rear axle with bearing attached or a exploded view?

Thanks,

$40.00 is ok but here in Phoenix I can get it done between $20-30. I don't have a reference but I believe it is almost similar to when a 1997-2003 Jeep Wrangler. I know it sounds corny but axle with seal and bearing will be the same.
