Hey guys...new to the forums
Question...can I put a newer model XC90 radio in my 2004?

The newer models have a different system that will not work in the older models.
Some chaps have put in a Panasonic or similar and kept part of the old system as it needs to have the "brains" which is part of the connectivity to the other systems in the vehicle to enable them to function correctly.
