2009 C70 ECM -621B

Post by eric4ch »

On my car there is an ECM Code that keeps popping up and won't clear
ECM-621B – Engine cooling Fan (FC) Signal Missing

I have verified ground, voltage and signal connection with the Vida and the unit seems to be working correctly. With the Vida communication to the vehicle, I am able to exercise the fan at 25%, 50% and 100% and it works just fine. Additionally, there is no issues with the fan coming on or engine running hot / overheating

On the Dash there is an information activation “Engine System Maintenance required” . I have done the Trip2 reset and it keeps coming on. With a “019” code on the dash.

My Questions
(1) Any ideas why the ECM code doesn't clear?
(2) Is the Dash "Engine System Maintenance Required" related the the ECM Code that i am getting

Appreciate any assistance on what it will take to clear this.
